‘Simon was the true son of Jona and Andrew [was] the second; both diminishers of scorn [HOLY MEN] avoid injurious whoredom. The one we named first was married decently to a land of the ocean’s fire [GOLD > WOMAN], because grace was sent [to him] from the Lord himself.’
[5-7]: Cf. Pétr 1/13-14: Simon feck ... eiginkonu ‘Simon took a wedded wife’.
