Óláfr Magnússon died of an illness in Trondheim on 22 December 1115 when he was 17 or 18 years old. He was buried in Kristkirken. See Theodoricus (MHN 64), Ágr (ÍF 29, 47), Mork 1928-32, 337, Fsk (ÍF 29, 320), MsonaHkr (ÍF 28, 257).
