En til þess að eigi verði oss Adams dæmi , er eigi kunni gott þiggja sjálfur , þá sælu , er honum var veitt , hefir Drottinn vor eigi enn öll synda víti af oss tekið , það er bæði erfiði og mæði og mörg þessa heims meinsemi , sótt og dauði , sorg og umhugi , hungur og þorsti , volað og vílsiðr .

The text and translation are given here, with buttons to toggle whether the text is shown in the verse order or prose word order. Clicking on indiviudal words gives dictionary links, variant readings, kennings and notes, where relevant.
