‘The second Mary married a man; Alpheus obtained a great marriage; she, the most beautiful woman, gave birth to four sons endowed with wisdom. The crowd mentions James the younger; Joseph shines in a bright power, Thaddaeus healed everything with goodness, the good and generous brother of Simon.’
