En eftir þetta falz Loki íFránangrsforsiílax líki. Þar tóku æsir hann. Hann var bundinn með þörmum sonar Nara, en Narfi, sonr hans, varð að vargi. Skaði tók eitrorm ok festi upp yfir andlit Loka; draup þar ór eitr. Sigyn, kona Loka, sat þar ok helt munnlaug undir eitrið. En er munnlaugin var full bar hon út eitrið en meðan draup eitrið áLoka. Þá kipptiz hann svá hart við að þaðan af skalf jörð öll; það eru nú kallaðir
