Logi ‘flame, blaze’ is given in Skm as a heiti for ‘fire’.

Sigfús Blöndal (1978, 92-3) suggests that this st. describes the destruction of the imperial Byzantine Treasury after the revolt against Emperor Michael V on 21 April 1042. That can, however, not be ascertained.
