inter metaplasmos et schemata et tropos hoc distat quod metaplasmi in adiectione detractione immutatione transmutatione litterarum syllabarum ac temporum apud poetas uel oratores inueniuntur schemata uero sunt figurae uerborum atque sententiarum quae dum uarie ponuntur fastidium auferunt et eloquium ornant in quibus nec tropica translatio sed naturalium dictionum sensuum que prolatio cum uariata et quasi depicta honestate obseruatur.
