Þar sat Kormákur um daginn.
Nú sér Þorkell að þetta ráð er farið er hann hafði stofnað. Nú biður hann Þórveigarsonu að sitja fyrir Kormáki í dal einum fyrir utan garð sinn.
Þá mælti Þorkell: ‘Narfi skal fara með ykkur en eg mun vera heima og veita yður lið ef þér þurfið.’
