‘The bold lords could not get Denmark lured under them because of warfare. Then the feller of the Danes [NORWEGIAN KING = Óláfr] had Skåne ravaged fiercely. …The most eminent prince.

notes and context

In ÓH-Hkr, the stanza follows sts 7-8, with a chapter in between and an account of Óláfr and Ǫnundr ravaging Skáni (Skåne). In Fsk and ÓHLeg, it concludes the sequence beginning with st. 3.
