The first helmingr summarises DGB 117, prophecy 73 (see Note to II 58-9). The second helmingr is based on DGB 117 (Reeve and Wright 2007, 159.303-4; cf. Wright 1988, 115, prophecy 74): Confligent uenti diro sufflamine et sonitum inter sidera conficient ‘The winds will contend with a terrible blast and make a din amongst the stars’ (cf. Reeve and Wright 2007, 158).
