Erikr með guðs miskunn Noregs konongr ok Hakon hærtogi synir Magnus konongs. Sænda ollum guðs vinum oc sinum j ærchibiscupsdœme af Niðarosi þæim sem þetta bref sia æða hœyra quæðio guðs oc sina. Mæðr þui at oss hœyrir at styrkia alla menn j landeno. til friðar oc frialzsis. ok sinna rettynda. ok æinnkannlega hælga kirkiu oc hennar þionosto menn. þa vilium ver ollum monnum kunnict gera. at ver haufuum tækit hælgha Niðaros kirkiu. oc hennar korsbrœðr. Garð hins hælgha Olafs konongs. æignnir staðarens ok tivnðir. oc allt annat fee þat sem hann a j lanði oc i lausum œyri loglega j uart uallð oc kononglegt traust. firirbioðom ver nockorom manne at *gripððæillðum hafua. æða unðir sik at draga. afloglega æignir æða oðal staðaræns. tiunðir. æða aðra fearluti hins hælga Olafs. vttan uilia æða skipanar korsbrœðra af Niðarosi. er þar æiga rað firir gera. þar til guð gefr þæim forstiora firir hæilaga kirkiu. þat biodom ver oc ollum mon-num at þer ser vægnnir oc goðuiliaðir til lærðra manna. oc later þa væl at kommast tiundum sinum oc aðrum rettændvm þæim sem forn kristinn rettr vattar.
