The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Nú létu þeir Gissur jarl í haf og hafði hann mjög leiðsögn í hafinu og kom skipinu við Suðureyjar og voru þar um veturinn og þar fékk Gissur jarl sverð það er síðan kallaði hann Eyfaranaut. Eftir um sumarið létu þeir í haf og hafði Gissur jarl þá enn mjög leiðsögn. Þeir komu skipinu á Eyrar síð um haustið. Urðu honum fegnir frændur og vinir. Þá hafði hann fjóra vetur utan verið. Hann setti þá bú saman í Kallaðarnesi og lét þangað föng til flytja. Sat hann þar með fjölmenni um veturinn og hafði rausn mikla í búi. Hann hafði mikil drykkjarföng út haft og var oft drukkið fast um veturinn. Ekki fór Gissur jarl til Skagafjarðar um haustið því að skip það er hann var á kom síð af hafi. Gissur jarl gerði menn norður til sveita um veturinn. Fór suður í Kallaðarnes Ingibjörg Gunnarsdóttir. Hún var þá frilla jarlsins sem áður hann fór utan. Þá fór og suður til Gissurar jarls Eyjólfur Þorleifsson og Guttormur Guttormsson. Um veturinn allraheilagramessu gerðust menn handgengnir Gissuri jarli þrír tigir manna, sumir hirðmenn, sumir gestir.
