The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Um vorið ræddi Grímur um við Signýju að hann vildi í brott, kveðst vant þykja þeirra á milli að ganga.



Signý bað hann tala um við Grímkel "og mun hann heldur bæta kosti þína því að hann er vel til þín."



Og svo gerir Grímur.



Grímkell segir: "Það vil eg að þú sért heima. Mun eg gera svo að þér hugni."



Var Grímur heima þau misseri. Annað vor fór allt á sömu leið. Vildi Grímur þá enn brott fara og kveðst eigi vera mundu nema Grímkell bæði Guðríðar Högnadóttur til handa honum.



Grímkell mælti: "Dýr gerist þú nú Grímur. Mun þeim þú þykja félítill því að Högni er auðigur maður."



Grímur kvað þetta vel mega takast með umsýslu hans.



Grímkell fer og biður konunnar og flytur vel og með hans framkvæmd þá takast þessi ráð með þeim Grími og Guðríði. Hafði Grímkell inni boð þeirra og voru þeirra samfarar góðar.



Og hið þriðja vorið vill Grímur á brautu. Grímkell kvað hann þar hafa vel verið og sagði hann nú fara skyldu þann veg sem hann vildi "og muntu verða þrifamaður."



Eftir það reisti Grímur bú og fær Grímkell allt til það sem þarf og leysa þau Signý hann vel af hendi. Er það frá Grími að segja að hann rakar fé saman í búnaðinum svo að tvö höfuð voru á hvívetna því er hann átti.
