The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Um sumarið eftir kom skip í Hvítá í Borgarfirði. Var þar stýrimaður Hallvarður gullskór. Hann fór með bréfum Hákonar konungs. Þá var Hrafni Oddssyni skipaður Borgarfjörður en tekinn af Gissuri jarli en jarl hafði skipað áður Sturlu Þórðarsyni. Þótti Sturlu þá eigi efnd við sig af Gissuri jarli þau hin fögru heit er fram voru mælt við hann. Þá kvað Sturla vísu þessa: Ásgrímur Þorsteinsson fór það sumar utan er Gissur jarl kom til Staðar og sættist hann við jarl og seldi honum sjálfdæmi. Ásgrímur fór af landi í brott og út til páfa. Þá var Alexander páfi. Hann var næstur eftir Innocentíusi páfa. Ásgrímur kom út í Hvítá með Hallvarði gullskó og hafði bréf Einars erkibiskups til staðarins á Grenjaðarstöðum, að honum var skipaður. Gerði hann þar bú um vorið eftir. Héldu þeir Gissur jarl vel sættir sínar. Það sumar kom Ingilborg drottning dóttir Eiríks konungs hins helga í Noreg. Þá var Magnús konungur vígður undir kórónu Ólafsmessudag hinn fyrra og svo Ingilborg drottning krossmessu um haustið. Þá andaðist á því hausti Knútur jarl son Hákonar galins.
