The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Skamma hríð var Oddur á Flugumýri áður hann spurði að Eyjólfur Þorsteinsson hafði riðið norðan úr Reykjadal og þeir nokkurir menn saman allt hið efra fyrir ofan byggðir allar og ætluðu svo að hlaupa vestur um horn þeim. Oddur brá þá við skjótt og reið vestur eftir þeim með sex tigi manna. Hann kom með flokk þann í Vesturhóp. Bar þá í sundur með þeim. Reið Oddur þá norður aftur en þeir Eyjólfur vestur í fjörðu til móts við Hrafn Oddsson. Voru þar allir saman um sumarið. Þetta sama sumar réðust kaup með þeim Þóri tott Arnþórssyni og Herdísi Einarsdóttur Þorvaldssonar Gissurarsonar. Var brúðlaup þeirra Jónsmessu baptista í Haukadal. Var að því brúðlaupi Brandur ábóti Jónsson og margt annarra góðra manna og göfugra, bæði norrænir menn og íslenskir. Var þar drukkið fast. Og hina nótt komu þar af fjalli norðan Oddur Þórarinsson og nær þrír tigir manna með honum. Þeir taka þar svefn á sig. Og um daginn vildi ábóti ekki við hann tala. Reið Oddur þaðan upp á þing til móts við Gissur. Á því þingi varð sekur Eyjólfur Þorsteinsson og þeir fimmtán brennumenn. Þá varð og sekur Þorsteinn Jóansson í Hvammi faðir Eyjólfs um fjörráð við Gissur og sonu hans og hann hefði vitað brennuna. Bar því búakviður á hann málið að Ásgrímur son hans hafði þar verið litlu áður.
