The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Íslsag Um sumarið eftir var þingreið mikil norðan úr sveitum. Lét Eyjólfur Þorsteinsson er Þórður hafði sett fyrir sveitirnar fjölmenna mjög norðan úr héruðum. Þórður hafði þá bú í Geldingaholti og reið hann með sex hundruð manna á þing. Gissurarsynir fjölmenntu og mjög. Um veturinn áður lét Hallur Gissurarson drepa Biskups-Börk á Bessastöðum er verið hafði fylgdarmaður Þórðar Sighvatssonar. Broddi Þorleifsson og Páll Kolbeinsson gengu í milli og bændur með þeim svo að þeir náðu eigi að berjast. Það sumar reið Oddur Þórarinsson til þings og gerði Hrana Koðránsson sekjan skógarmann fyrir það er hann laust Filippus Sæmundarson keyrishögg þá er Þórður Sighvatsson sótti hann heim til Hvols. En þá höfðu þeir bræður Filippus og Haraldur Sæmundarsynir drukknað annað sumarið áður suður fyrir Minþakseyri. Var þá eigi við Filippus að meta málaferlin við Hrana. Hrani bauð engi boð fyrir sig á þinginu og riðu menn við það heim.
