The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Það sumar er Þorgils bjó í Ási kom til Íslands Ívar Arnljótsson. Segir hann að Hákon konungur hefði spurt dráp Eyjólfs Þorsteinssonar. Fór Ívar með konungsboðskap. Hafði hann út hans bréf til Þorgils. Var það þar á að hann hefði skipað Þorgilsi Eyjafjörð til fyrirvistar og allar sveitir norður þaðan til fjórðungamóts því að Þórður Sighvatsson var þá andaður. Gengu þá allir bændur undir Þorgils og játtu honum til yfirmanns. Eftir andlát Þórðar kallaði Steinvör Sighvatsdóttir sér hérað í Eyjafirði og landið á Grund og aðrar eignir þær er Þórður hafði átt því að Þórður átti engi börn skilgetin en Steinvör var skilgetin systir hans. Þetta haust kom heim í Ás Guðrún Gunnarsdóttir. Tók Þorgils hana frillutaki. Áttu þau dóttur er Steinunn hét. Gerðist þá Illugi bróðir hennar heimamaður Þorgils.
