The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Eftir um vorið fór Þorgils búi sínu í Ás í Hegranes. Innti hann þá af hendi boð það er hann hafði boðið Heinreki biskupi. Var þar veisla virðuleg og gjafir stórar. Hann gaf honum stóðhross þrjú og þrjú hundruð vöru og fingurgull og bók góða. Skeggja gaf hann og góðar gjafir og mörgum öðrum. Skildu þeir biskup þá vinir og héldu það vel síðan. Biskup bjóst þá til til utanferðar. Styrkti Þorgils hann að fararefnum og öllum hlutum og fylgdi honum til skips og mæltust þeir vel við að skilnaði. Fór biskup þá utan og andaðist í Noregi. Aðra veislu hafði Þorgils um haustið. Bauð hann þá til sín flestum héraðsbændum hinum bestum. Var þá veisla fjölmenn og veitt með hinni mestu rausn. Voru og gjafir stórar að útlausnum og engi fór gjafalaust í brott, sá er boðið hafði verið. Af þessari veislu fékk Þorgils mikla virðing af bóndum. Buðu flestir bændur honum þá heim og fór hann að veislum um veturinn um allt hérað og þá af bóndum hinar sæmilegustu gjafir. Var nú í héraði gleði mikil og þóttust bændur þá hafa nálega himin höndum tekið er þeir hafa fengið slíkan höfðingja. Þótti þeim nú Kolbeinn aftur kominn og endurborinn og þá langaði æ eftir.
