The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Þeir Kolbeinn ungi og Gissur fundust í þann tíma á Kili og gerðu ráð sín þau er síðan komu fram. Þetta sumar var veginn Kolur hinn auðgi. Árni er beiskur var kallaður vó hann. Síðan hljóp hann til Gissurar og tók hann við honum. Þá er Gissur kom af Kili stefndi hann mönnum að sér. Voru þar fyrir þeir bræður Klængur og Ormur, Loftur biskupsson, Árni óreiða. Hélt hann þá upp bréfum þeim er þeir Eyvindur og Árni höfðu út haft. Var þar á að Gissur skyldi Snorra láta utan fara hvort er honum þætti ljúft eða leitt eða drepa hann að öðrum kosti fyrir það er hann hafði farið út í banni konungs. Kallaði Hákon konungur Snorra landráðamann við sig. Sagði Gissur að hann vildi með öngu móti brjóta bréf konungs en kveðst vita að Snorri mundi eigi ónauðigur utan fara. Kveðst Gissur þá vildu til fara og taka Snorra. Ormur vildi ekki vera í þessi ráðagerð og reið hann heim á Breiðabólstað. Gissur dró þá lið saman og sendi þá bræður vestur til Borgarfjarðar á njósn, Árna beisk og Svart, en Gissur reið frá liðinu með sjö tigu manna. En Loft biskupsson lét hann vera fyrir því liðinu er síðar fór. Klængur reið á Kjalarnes eftir liði og svo upp í hérað.
