The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Um veturinn eftir Örlygsstaðafund voru þeir með Skúla hertoga í Niðarósi Snorri Sturluson og Órækja son hans og Þorleifur Þórðarson en Þórður kakali var í Björgvin með Hákoni konungi. En um vorið fengu þeir skip er átti Guðleikur á Skartastöðum vinur Snorra og bjuggu það til hafs með ráði hertogans. En er þeir voru búnir og höfðu lagt út undir Hólm þá komu menn sunnan frá konungi og með bréfum og stóð það á að konungur bannaði þeim öllum Íslendingum að fara út á því sumri. Þeir sýndu Snorra bréfin og svarar hann svo: Út vil eg. Og þá er þeir voru búnir hafði hertoginn þá í boði sínu áður þeir tóku orlof. Voru þá fáir menn við tal þeirra hertogans og Snorra. Arnfinnur Þjófsson og Ólafur hvítaskáld voru með hertoganum en Órækja og Þorleifur með Snorra. Og var það sögn Arnfinns að hertoginn gæfi Snorra jarlsnafn og svo hefir Styrmir hinn fróði ritað: Ártíð Snorra fólgsnarjarls. En engi þeirra Íslendinganna lét það á sannast. Eftir það létu þeir Snorri í haf og tóku Vestmannaeyjar. Þar laust Hrani Koðránsson Austmann. Hann var með Snorra þá og Ófeigur Bjarnarson. Þeir gengu þar af í eyjunum. Fór Snorri þá á Breiðabólstað í Fljótshlíð. Þar var þá Hallveig fyrir. Órækja gekk og þar af og með honum Egill Sölmundarson og Hákon Bótólfsson er galinn var kallaður.
