The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Kolbeinn ungi bjó á Flugumýri. Hann hafði margt röskra manna með sér. Guðmundur Ásbjarnarson var með honum eftir víg þeirra feðga Kálfs og Guttorms. Þar var þá og Þórálfur Bjarnason. Með þeim Guðmundi og Þórálfi var jafnan fátt. Guðmundur kvað vísu: Sá atburður varð á Flugumýri tveim vetrum eftir víg þeirra Kálfs feðga að þeir sátu að tafli Kolbeinn ungi og Guðmundur, tefldu kvotru þar á gólfinu í stofunni þrem nóttum eftir jól. En er hringdi til aftansöngs gekk Kolbeinn til kirkju og margt manna með honum. Guðmundur sat eftir og batt saman taflið. Þá kom Þórálfur í stofuna og Helga húsfreyja Sæmundardóttir. Þeir menn voru á Flugumýri er annar hét Skálp-Bjarni en annar Böðvar. Þeir voru bræður og var fjandskapur með þeim og Guðmundi. En er Kolbeinn var út genginn þá höggur Bjarni til Guðmundar og kemur á fyrir ofan kné. Var það mikið sár. Guðmundur vildi upp standa og hafði fyrir sér borðtaflið. Böðvar hjó þá í höfuðið og var það banasár. Báðir unnu þeir á honum. Helga og Þórálfur skutu þeim á braut. Varð Kolbeinn eigi fyrr var við en þeir voru svo langt komnir að þeir urðu eigi áhendir. Þeir fóru austur í fjörðu. Þórarinn Jónsson kom þeim utan. En Kolbeinn var hinn reiðasti en þó varð engi hefnd eftir Guðmund og engar fébætur.
