The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Kolbeinn reið heim af þingi og lauk Magnús biskup öngum gerðum upp með þeim Sighvati því að Sighvatur kom ekki til þings. En hann gerði fyrir víg Kálfs Guttormssonar og Guttorms sonar hans tíu tigi hundraða og greiddi Kolbeinn það allt vel eftir skildögum. Vinir Kolbeins fýstu hann mjög að sættast við Sighvat og fóru þá enn menn í milli þeirra og kom svo að fundur var lagiður með þeim í Hörgárdal. En er þeir komu til fundarins og menn leituðu um sættir kom því svo að annar hvor þeirra skyldi einn gera og hluta um og kasta til teningum. En er þeir hlutuðu fyrirkast kastaði Sighvatur daus og ás. Þá mælti einn af fylgdarmönnum Kolbeins: Smátt féll nú úr hendi Sighvati bónda. En í síðurum köstum kastaði stærra Sighvatur og hlaut hann að gera og lauk hann ekki gerð upp á þeim fundi. En það var þá ráðið að Kolbeinn Arnórsson og Kolbeinn Sighvatsson skyldu ríða suður um land og hafa á öðru hundraði manna og setjast í bú Snorra Sturlusonar þau er hann átti suður þar í Dal undir Eyjafjöllum og á Leirubakka og enn fleiri. Þeir sátu mjög lengi um sumarið á Leirubakka og gerðu þeir þar margar óspektir og rændu víða.
