The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Um vorið bjóst Sturla að fara í fjörðu vestur. Skyldi hann þá lúka upp gerðum eftir því sem mælt var með þeim Vatnsfirðingum. Þeir höfðu lagt fund á Skálanesi. Reið Sturla til Saurbæjar og tók þar skip. Fór Sturla vestur til Skálaness með tuttugu og fimm manna. Þar koma þeir bræður með hálfan fjórða tug manna. Svertingur Þorleifsson var þar fyrir með tíu menn. Hann kom saman fundi þeirra því að Sturla þótti þeir gnógu fjölmennir. Gekk Sturla í sker eitt og Torfi prestur. Þeir bræður gengu og þangað og töluðu skamma stund og færðu fundinn í Önundarfjörð í Holt, skyldu þar koma með þrjá tigu manna hvorir. Fóru Vatnsfirðingar vestur yfir heiði en Sturla fór þar til er hann kom til Sanda í Dýrafirði. Þar bjó þá Oddur Álason. Böðvar af Stað kom til móts við Sturlu og bauð að fara með honum til fundarins. Þar kom og Gísli af Sandi. Á Mýrum var Gísli eftir og allir Dýrfirðingar. Steinþór prestur úr Holti fann Sturlu að Arnkelsbrekku og bauð honum til sín. Reið Sturla í Holt.
