The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Maður hét Þórður og var Kollason, Dalamaður. Hann vó Þórð Þrágjarnsson og Helgu Erlendsdóttur, bróður Brands Þórhallssonar frá Fjallsenda er þeir fóru frá leik úr Snóksdal. Eftir það hljóp Þórður í fjörðu vestur og tók við honum Þorvaldur Snorrason og var hann með honum að vígi Ljóts Sela-Eiríkssonar. En um sumarið eftir reið Þorvaldur til þings og var í búð við Þorvaldi Gissurarsyni frænda sínum og Þórður Kollason með honum. Hann hafði gengið í búð Skarðverja er Austmenn höfðu tjaldað og sat á kistu. Þá kom í búðina Brandur Þórhallsson og hjó á háls Þórði svo að nær tók af höfuðið og hefndi svo bróður síns. Eftir það hljóp Brandur í búð til Sighvats og segir honum tíðindi þessi. Sighvatur lét kalla Pál Kollason þangað, þingmann sinn en bróður Þórðar. Hann var aðili málsins. Og sætti Sighvatur þá Brand fyrr en Þorvaldur varð við var og þóttist hann mjög vanvirður í þessi sætt og var lengi fæð á með þeim Sighvati.
