The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Þá er Guðmundur prestur var á Miklabæ þá átti hann brautsöng á þann bæ er á Marbæli heitir. Þannig söng hann einn hátíðardag. Þar var á vist góð kona og skynsöm er Hallfríður hét og var Ófeigsdóttir. Hún stóð hjá messu Guðmundar prests og hugði að sér vel sem jafnan var hún vön og horfði jafnan á hann um messuna. En er lesið var guðspjall og hann snerist utar og sagði dominus vobiscum þá sá hún eld fara af munni honum í loft upp, bjartara miklu en hún hefði fyrr slíkan séð. Eftir þetta fer hann af Miklabæ og í Viðvík og er hann þar um veturinn með Mávi Finnssyni. Það var eitt sinn er Guðmundur prestur var í kirkju að bæn sinni þá kemur Már bóndi í kirkjudyr. Sá hann að fugl lítill fló upp af öxlum Guðmundar í loftið og hverfur þar. Þau misseri týndist skip Ásmundar kastanrassa og fóru þar margir íslenskir menn, þeir er mikill skaði var að. Þá andaðist Hallur ábóti og Eiríkur jarl og þá var bardagi í Vík austur. Nú er Guðmundur vetri miður en þrítugur.
