Not published: do not cite (HrafnSt ch. 12)
The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):
Ragnheiðr hét kona, dóttir Arons Bárðarsonar ins svarta. Hon bjó í Selárdal. Þar kom reyðarhvalr. Ok er Þorvaldr frétti þat, fór hann ok bað Ragnheiði selja sér hval. En hon lét hann hafa tólf vættir ok mælti, at hann skyldi gjalda henni jafnmikinn, þá er ræki á fjörur hans. Þann hval galt Þorvaldr aldri síðan.
Ok er hann fór brott ór Selárdal, gisti hann á þeim bæ, er heitir í Lokinhömrum. Þar var stolinn í brott sumr hvalrinn. Sá stuldr reyndist síðan á hendr þingmanni Hrafns, þeim er bjó á Sléttanesi.
Ok er Hrafn varð þess varr, bauð hann Þorvaldi at gjalda fyrir þingmann sinn slíkt, sem Þorvaldr vildi gera fyrir tökuna.
Þorvaldr vildi eigi þiggja fébætr af Hrafni, ok rænti hann þann mann, er hvalinn tók. Gekk Þorvaldr þá at öðru hverju á þingmenn Hrafns.
