Þórðr í Vatnsfirði var sonr Þorvalds Kjartanssonar ok Þórdísar Hermundardóttur. Móðir Þorvalds var Guðrún, dóttir Halldórs Snorrasonar goða. Þórðr átti Sigríði, dóttur Hafliða Mássonar. Páll var sonr þeira ok Snorri, Teitr ok Ívarr.
Páll átti Guðrúnu, dóttur Brands byskups. Þessi váru börn Páls ok Hallveigar Ásmundardóttur: Vigfúss ok Oddný, ‑ hennar börn ok Kálfs Snorrasonar á Mel: Vigfúss ok Snorri, Eirný, er fylgdi Þórði Jörundarsyni á Hítarnesi. Þessi váru börn Oddnýjar ok Þorbjarnar Bergssonar: Snorri, Teitr, Valgerðr, Margrét, er Ásgrímr átti Bergþórsson.
Snorri var faðir Hafliða, er týndist með Ásmundi kastanrassa. Snorri Þórðarson var ok faðir Þórðar ok Þorvalds ok Bárðar. Móðir Þorvalds var Jóreiðr Oddleifsdóttir, Þórðarsonar, Þorvaldssonar, Þórðarsonar, Þorkelssonar ins auðga ór Alviðru. Þorvaldr átti Kolfinnu, dóttur Einars Þorgilssonar, ‑ þeira börn Einarr, er drukknaði á Ísafirði, ok Jóreiðr, er Hafþórr Elalldórsson átti, ok Halldóra, er Eyjólfr Eyjólfsson átti. Þórðr var sonr Þorvalds ok Helgu Ormsdóttur. Snorri hét enn sonr Þorvalds. Illugi var sonr Þorvalds ok Þórdísar Ásgeirsdóttur. Ketill var sonr Þorvalds ok Lofnheiðar. Páll var sonr Þorvalds ok Halldóru, dóttur Sveins Helgasonar. Þorvaldr átti síðan Þórdísi, dóttur Snorra Sturlusonar, ‑ þeira börn: Einarr ok Kolfinna.
