The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Skip hafði staðit uppi í Hrútafirði um vetrinn, ok hafði Þorgils keypta marga viðu til skálagerðar ok heim flutta, nema eitt hundrað viðar hafði eftir orðit, ok þat eitt fekk Hafliði af sektarfjám Þorgils.



Þau missiri var skálinn gerr, er Þorgils var í sektinni, ok sá skáli var þá óhrörligr, er Magnús byskup Gizurarson andaðist. Ok þau missiri var Einarr fæddr Þorgilsson, er hann var í sektinni. 

Eftir þat sendi Hafliði orð í allar sveitir at biðja sér liðs ok fulltings, bæði stærri menn ok smæri. Ok um haustit stefndu þeir fund sín á milli, Hafliði ok Hallr Teitsson ok Þórðr Þorvaldsson Vatnsfirðingr. Ok var þetta þar um kveðit:



Ambhöfði kom norðan, 

en Orknhöfði sunnan, 

Hjarthöfði kom vestan, 

höfðu ráð und skauti: 

Tóku margt at mæla, 

es menn spakir fundusk, 

þó vas úlfúð ærin 

í Ambhöfða brjósti.10



Ok nú liðu af missirin, ok er flest seinna en segir.
