Njörður af Nóatúnum gerðist þá valdsmaður yfir Svíum og hélt upp blótum. Hann kölluðu Svíar þá drottin sinn. Tók hann þá skattgjafar af þeim. Á hans dögum var friður allgóður og alls konar ár, svo mikið að Svíar trúðu því að Njörður réði fyrir ári og fyrir fésælu manna. Á hans dögum dóu flestir díar og voru allir brenndir og blótaðir síðan.
