Notes: [3-4] sannstýrandi sólhauðrs ‘true-steerer of the sun-land [SKY/HEAVEN > = God (= Christ)]’: An identical heaven-kenning is at the heart of the Christ-kenning sonr hauðrs sólar ‘son of the land of the sun’ in Leið 31/3-4. According to LP: sólhauðr, the cpd is a hap. leg., and no other occurrence of sólar hauðrs is attested, though the concept is common.
