Acirológía er óeiginlig setning orðs sem hér er kveðit:
Vætti ek harms nema hittaHér kallaz skáldit vætta harms þess, er hann kvíddi, ok er þetta orð, ek vætti, gagnstaðliga sett, þvíat at þat er mannsis náttúra at vétta fagnaðar en kvíða við harmi. Þessi lǫstr heyrir barbarismo, þvíat hann verðr í einni sǫgn, en því heyrir hann sólœcismo, at hann verðr í málsgrein milli þessa tveggja orða, væntir ok kvíðir.
