The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Það sumar er þeir bræður fóru til Íslands þá fór Ingimundur
til föður síns og var með honum. Þorsteinn faðir hans tók þá
að eldast.

Og eitt sinn mælti Þorsteinn til Ingimundar: "Gott er nú að
deyja og vita son sinn slíkan hamingjumann. Uni eg því best
við ævi mína að eg hefi verið engi ágangsmaður við menn. Er
og líkast að með þeim enda slitni ævi mín því að eg kenni nú
sóttar. Nú vil eg þér frændi í kunnleika gera fjárfar mitt
hvert er en eigi þykir mér kynlegt þótt þér svífi af þessum
ættjörðum og læt eg mér eigi að því þykja."

Ingimundur kvaðst hug mundu á leggja að breyta eftir hans
fyrirsögn. Þorsteinn kvaðst ætla að Ingimundur mundi þykja
þar mikilmenni sem hann byggði hvar sem hann væri. Þorsteinn
segir honum þá marga hluti fyrir og brátt eftir það andaðist
hann. Var honum þá veittur sæmilegur umbúnaður eftir fornum
sið. Ingimundur tók við fjárforráðum og öllum eignum. Ætlaði
hann þar að nema yndi og settist nú um kyrrt.
