The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):



Maður er nefndur Eilífur örn. Við hann er kennt eitt hið
hæsta fjall á Reykjaströnd í Skagafirði. Eilífur örn var son
Atla Skíðasonar hins gamla, Bárðarsonar jarls. Eilífur örn
átti Þorlaugu dóttur Sæmundar hins suðureyska er nam
Sæmundarhlíð. Þau áttu þrjá sonu. Hét einn Sölmundur, faðir
Guðmundar, föður Víga-Barða og bræðra hans. Annar var Atli
hinn rammi. Hann átti Herdísi dóttur Þórðar frá Höfða. Þeirra
dóttir var Þorlaug er átti Guðmundur hinn ríki á Möðruvöllum.
Þriðji son Eilífs arnar hét Koðrán er bjó að Giljá í
Vatnsdal. Hann var auðigur maður. Kona hans hét Járngerður.
Son þeirra hét Ormur en annar Þorvaldur. Koðrán unni mikið
Ormi syni sínum en Þorvaldi lítið eða ekki. Var honum haldið
til vinnu þegar hann mátti sér nokkuð. Hann var klæddur lítt
og ger í hvívetna hornungur bróður síns. Hann þjónaði í húsi
föður síns það er hann var til skipaður með öllum góðvilja.
