The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Eftir það er þeir höfðu sæst, Bolli og Þorleikur og
Ólafssynir, og Þorleikur hafði verið einn vetur á Íslandi þá
lýsti Bolli því að hann ætlaði utan.

Snorri latti þess og mælti: "Oss þykir mikið í hættu hversu
þér tekst. En ef þig fýsir fleira að ráða en nú ræður þú þá
vil eg fá þér staðfestu og gera þér bú og þar með fá þér í
hendur mannaforræði og halda þér til virðingar í öllu. Vænti
eg að það sé auðvelt því að flestir menn leggja góðan hug til
þín."

Bolli svarar: "Það hefi eg lengi haft í hug mér að ganga
suður um sinnsakir. Þykir maður við það fávís verða ef hann
kannar ekki víðara en hér Ísland."

Og er Snorri sér það að Bolli hefir statt þetta fyrir sér að
ekki mundi tjá að letja þá býður Snorri honum að hafa fé svo
mikið sem hann vildi til ferðarinnar. Bolli játar því að hafa
féið mikið "vil eg," segir hann, "engis manns miskunnarmaður
vera hvorki hér né utanlendis."

Síðan ríður Bolli suður til Borgarfjarðar og til Hvítár og
kaupir skip það hálft að þeim mönnum er það áttu. Eiga þeir
bræður þá saman skipið. Ríður Bolli síðan vestur heim. Þau
Bolli og Þórdís áttu eina dóttur. Sú hét Herdís. Þeirri mey
bauð Guðrún til fósturs. Hún var þá veturgömul er hún fór til
Helgafells. Þórdís var og löngum þar. Var Guðrún og allvel
til hennar.
