The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Bjarni hét maður, er bjó að þeim bæ, er að Laugarhúsum
heitir. Það er við Hrafnkelsdal. hann var kvongaður og
átti tvo sonu við konu sinni, og hét annar Sámur, en
annar Eyvindur, vænir menn og efnilegir. Eyvindur var
heima með föður sínum, en Sámur var kvongaður og bjó í
norðanverðum dalnum á þeim bæ, er heitir á Leikskálum, og
átti hann margt fé. Sámur var uppivöðslumaður mikill og
lögkænn, en Eyvindur gerðist farmaður og fór utan til
Noregs og var þar um veturinn. Þaðan fór hann og út í
lönd og nam staðar í Miklagarði og fékk þar góðar
virðingar af Grikkjakonungi og var þar um hríð.

Hrafnkell átti þann grip í eigu sinni, er honum þótti
betri en annar. Það var hestur brúnmóálóttur að lit, er
hann kallaði Freyfaxa sinn. Hann gaf Frey, vin sínum,
þann hest hálfan. Á þessum hesti hafði hann svo mikla
elsku, að hann strengdi þess heit, að hann skyldi þeim
manni að bana verða, sem honum riði án hans vilja.
