The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Barði ríður til þings eftir er hann hafði einn vetur verið
hér á landi. Þá bað hann sér konu. Sú hét Auður, dóttir
Snorra goða, og er hún föstnuð honum og skyldi brúðlaup vera
um haustið í Sælingsdal að Snorra goða föður hennar. Eigi er
á kveðið hve mikið fé henni skyldi heiman fylgja en líklegt
að vera mundi góður sómi. Hún var skörungur og unni Snorri
henni mikið. Móðir hennar var Þuríður Illugadóttir hins
rauða.

Barði ríður til Vatnsdals um þingið til mága sinna og unir
vel við sína ferð og hefir góða virðing af mönnum. Og fór
eftir því sem vitrir menn höfðu fyrir séð að sætt manna hélst
sem á var kveðið og er ekki getið þeirra viðskipta síðan.

Nú býr Snorri veisluna um haustið sem ætlað var og kemur þá
fjölmenni mikið og fer hún fram skörulega sem von var og er
Barði þar um veturinn og bæði þau. En um vorið fara þau í
braut með allt sitt og skiljast þeir góðir vinir, Barði og
Snorri, og fer hann nú norður í Vatnsdal og er þar með
Guðbrandi mági sínum.

Og að vori býr hann ferð sína, kaupir skip og fer utan og
kona hans með honum og er sagt að honum greiðist vel ferðin
og kemur af hafi norður við Hálogaland og er þar um veturinn
í Þjóttu með Sveini Hárekssyni og var vel virður og þóttust
menn sjá á honum stórmennsku og virti hann þau bæði mikils.
