The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Og er Þorgils hafði lokið að mæla fyrir griðum þá mælti
Snorri: "Haf þökk fyrir vinur. Stórvel er mælt og það sýnt,
sá er á bak gengur er að vísu griðníðingur og sé hann við
staddur."

Nú segir Snorri tíðindin, þau sem orðin voru, og það að þeir
Barði voru þar komnir í flokk þeirra Þorgils. Þar voru margir
vinir sunnanmanna og náfrændur. Þorgils hafði og átt fyrr
Grímu Hallkelsdóttur, systur Illuga hins svarta.

Þá mælti Þorgils: "Vel hefðum vér mátt missa þín, Snorri, nú
að sinni."

Hann svarar: "Eigi er það góði vinur. Ærin eru nú orðin
vandræði með mönnum þótt hér nemi staðar."

Þorgils vill nú eigi ganga á grið þessi er hann hefir sjálfur
fyrir mælt og skiljast menn nú.

Ríður Snorri frá með tuttugu menn og Barði með honum og hans
menn til Lækjamóts og tekur Þórarinn vel við þeim og eru nú
kátir, ráða nú ráðum sínum að . . .
