The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

En er landsmenn urðu varir við ferð þeirra Sigurðar þá sendu
þeir Koll Kjallaksson við fjórða mann og tuttugasta. Og er
þeir fundust, flýði þegar Þorgeir gyrðilskeggi við sjöunda
mann en Sigurður Torfafóstri bjóst til varnar við fimmta mann
og var þar allhörð atlaga. Varðist Sigurður þá enn
allhraustlega því að hann var bæði sterkur og vopnfimur. Þar
til börðust þeir að fallnir voru allir félagar Sigurðar en
hann var þá enn ekki sár. Þorvaldur bláskeggur sótti þá hart
að og margir aðrir. Þá voru fallnir fimm menn af Koll.
Sigurður verst þá enn ágæta vel. Vegur hann þá enn marga menn
enda berast þá sár á hann. Þorvaldur bláskeggur snarar þá að
Sigurði og leggur í gegnum hann með spjóti. Sigurður hafði
vegið með öxi. Hann kastar þá til Þorvalds öxinni og kemur
öxin í höfuðið og féll hvortveggi dauður niður. Þá hafði
Sigurður orðið níu manna bani en fylgdarmenn hans höfðu
drepið þrjá. Alls féllu þar í árkvíslunum sautján menn af
hvorumtveggjum. Þær eru nú kallaðar Bláskeggsár.

Þorgeir gyrðilskeggi nam staðar á Arnarvatnsheiði og lagðist
í helli á Fitjum og safnaði sér liði og var þar þar til er
Borgfirðingar gerðust til þeirra. Þá stökk Þorgeir norður á
Strandir og var þar drepinn sem segir í Álfgeirs þætti.
