The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Nú er þar frá að segja að Gunnar ríður heiman einn dag að
finna Þórdísi til að bjóða henni bætur eftir Örn bónda.

Finnur hann hana og býður henni bæturnar en hún kveðst mundi
fyrir löngu þegið hafa ef fengið hefði "og mun eg kjósa mér
nú þrenn manngjöld eftir bróður minn Örn."

Hann lauk féð henni til handa og greiddi svo mikið sem hún
vildi. Sættust þau þá heilum sáttum.

Reið hann heim til Hörgslands aftur og situr í náðum í góðum
friði alla ævi síðan og þeir bræður báðir. Það orð var þá á
Austfjörðum að þar mundu engir menn finnast þeim frægri.

Gunnar og Helga áttu mörg börn saman og voru þeirra synir
haldnir hinir mestu frægðarmenn í þann tíma. Er frá þeim
kominn mikill ætthringur og sá frændabálkur kallaður
Keldunúpingar en um nöfn þeirra er eigi getið í þessari sögu
eða um tilburði á þeim dögum.

Lúkum vér svo sögu af Keldunúps-Gunnari.
