The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Það er af Helga að segja að hann fékk fæð mikla. Hann reið þá
einn dag að finna bróður sinn og sagði honum að hann vildi
biðja Ingibjargar dóttur Geirs bónda.

Síðan ríða þeir báðir bræður á fund Geirs við tólfta mann.
Geir bauð þeim þar að þiggja sæmd og náðir. Þeir stigu nú af
baki og ganga til stofu og voru þar um nóttina í góðum beina.
Þeir höfðu uppi bónorðið við Ingibjörgu fyrir hönd Helga. En
Geir bóndi veik þeim svörum til dóttur sinnar en hún kvað
vilja hér hlíta föður síns ráði. Var þessu nú keypt. Skyldi
það boð vera um haustið á Geirlandi um veturnætur. Þeir riðu
heim bræður báðir til búa sinna.

Leið nú á sumarið og kom sá tími sem ákveðinn var að
brullaupið skyldi vera. Kom þar þá margur og var engi
óboðinn. Stóð veisla sú sjö daga og sjö nætur. En að endaðri
veislunni fór hver heim til sinna heimkynna. Voru allir meiri
háttar menn með gjöfum út leiddir. En Helgi fór heim til
Keldugnúps með konu sína og sat nú í kyrrð.
