The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Um morguninn þegar dagur var fór hún og sagði frændum sínum
þetta víg bónda síns. Þeir Brettingssynir urðu við þetta
stórlega reiðir, búa þegar mál til og fara á Eyri og lýsa
vígi á hendur Finnboga og biðja hann bæta fé fyrir.

En Finnbogi kveðst þeim engu vildu til svara "því að hann
hefir áður mælt sér til óhelgi."

Síðan stefndu þeir Finnboga um víg Uxa. Eftir það riðu þeir
til Eyjafjarðar á fund Eyjólfs Valgerðarsonar er þá þótti
mestur höfðingi í Eyjafirði. Hann var og skyldur þeim
bræðrum, og báðu þeir hann liðveislu mót Finnboga og þeim
frændum. Hann hét þeim sínu fulltingi. Ríða nú heim og
þykjast nú hafa fullnað úr málum, gerast nú örorðir og
illmálgir til Finnboga. Hann lætur sem hann viti það eigi
hvað þeir mæla. Síðan fundust þeir frændur, Finnbogi og
Þorgeir. Þá segir Finnbogi honum það sem í hafði gerst.
Þorgeir kallaði betur vera að hann hefði bætt nokkuru, kvað
eigi gott að leggja sæmd sína fyrir slík mál er þó eru engis
verð, fara nú til þings og fjölmenna hvorirtveggju.
