The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Það er og sagt þá er Sigurður konungur var staddur í Björgyn
varð sá atburður að í bænum voru leikarar og hét annar
Jarlmaður. Og hann Jarlmaður tók kið eitt og át frjádag og
konungur vill það refsa honum og lét taka hann og hýða.

Og er Einar kemur að þá mælti hann: "Hart viljið þér nú búa
við Jarlmann félaga vorn."

Konungur mælti: "Þú munt nú ráða. Vísu skaltu yrkja og meðan
þú yrkir skal hann hýða."

Einar mælti: "Það mundi hann vilja Jarlmaður að mér yrði eigi
alltorfynt."

En fimm högg lustu þeir hann.

Þá mælti Einar: "Nú er vísan ort."

Austr tók illa kristinn

Jarlmaðr frá búkarli,

gráðr var kjöts á kauða,

kiðling, hinn er slær fiðlu.

Vöndr hrökk, vomr lá bundinn,

velmáll, á skip þíslar,

söng leikara lengi

lími harðan príma.
