The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Þórir hundur gekk þar til er var lík Ólafs konungs og veitti þar umbúnað, lagði niður líkið og rétti og breiddi klæði yfir. Og er hann þerrði blóð af andlitinu þá sagði hann svo síðan að andlit konungsins var svo fagurt að roði var í kinnum sem þá að hann svæfi en miklu bjartara en áður var meðan hann lifði. Þá kom blóð konungsins á hönd Þóri og rann upp á greipina þar er hann hafði áður sár fengið og þurfti um það sár eigi umband þaðan í frá, svo greri það skjótt. Vottaði Þórir sjálfur þenna atburð, þá er helgi Ólafs konungs kom upp, fyrir alþýðu.

Varð Þórir hundur fyrstur til þess að halda upp helgi konungsins þeirra ríkismanna er þar höfðu verið í mótstöðuflokki hans.
