The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Nú flýðu sumir menn jarls á land upp, sumir gengu til griða. Þá reru þeir Sveinn jarl út á fjörðinn og lögðu þeir saman skip sín og töluðu höfðingjar milli sín. Leitar jarl ráða við lenda menn.

Erlingur Skjálgsson réð það að þeir skyldu norður sigla í land og fá sér lið og berjast enn við Ólaf konung. En fyrir því að þeir höfðu látið lið mikið þá fýstu flestir allir að jarl færi úr landi á fund Svíakonungs mágs síns og efldist þaðan að liði og fylgdi Einar því ráði því að honum þótti sem þeir hefðu þá engi föng til að berjast við Ólaf konung. Skildist þá lið þeirra.

Sigldi jarl suður um Foldina og með honum Einar þambarskelfir.

Erlingur Skjálgsson og enn margir aðrir lendir menn, þeir er eigi vildu flýja óðul sín, fóru norður til heimila sinna. Hafði Erlingur um sumarið fjölmenni mikið.
