The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Sigurður konungur lét svo mjög efla kaupstaðinn í
Konungahellu að þá var engi ríkari í Noregi og sat þar löngum
til landsgæslu. Hann lét húsa konungsgarð í kastalanum. Hann
lagði á öll héruð, þau er í nánd voru kaupstaðinum, og svo á
býjarmennina, að á hverjum tólf mánuðum skyldi hver maður níu
vetra gamall eða eldri bera til kastalans fimm vopnsteina eða
aðra fimm staura og skyldi þá gera hvassa í annan enda og
fimm alna háva.

Þar í kastalanum lét Sigurður konungur gera Krosskirkju. Hún
var trékirkja og mjög vönduð að efnum og smíð. Þá er Sigurður
hafði verið konungur fjóra vetur og tuttugu var vígð
Krosskirkja. Þá lét konungur þar vera kross hinn helga og
marga aðra helga dóma. Sú var kölluð Kastalakirkja. Þar setti
hann fyrir altari tabolu er hann hafði gera látið í
Grikklandi. Hún var ger af eiri og silfri og gyllt fagurlega,
sett smeltum og gimsteinum. Þar var skrín er Eiríkur eimuni
Danakonungur hafði sent Sigurði konungi og plenarium ritinn
gullstöfum er patríarki gaf Sigurði konungi.
