Magnús konungur sneri aftur ferð sinni þá er hann hafði
undir sig lagt Skáni, hélt þá fyrst í Falstur, veitti þar
uppgöngu og herjaði þar, drap mikið lið það er áður hafði
gengið undir Svein.

Þess getur Arnór:

Svik réð eigi eklu

allvaldr Dönum gjalda.

Lét fullhugaðr falla

Falstrbyggja lið tyggi.

Hlóð, en hála tæðu

hirðmenn ara grenni,

auðar þorn fyr örnu

ungr valköstu þunga.

Síðan hélt Magnús konungur liði sínu til Fjóns og herjaði og
vann þar þá mikið hervirki.

Svo segir Arnór:

Enn rauð frán á Fjóni,

fold sótti gramr dróttar,

ráns galt her frá honum,

hringserks lituðr merki.

Minnist öld, hver annan,

jafnþarfr blám hrafni,

ört gat hilmir hjarta,

herskyldir tug fylldi.
