Eftir um daginn var Mikjálsmessuaftann.
En er komið var að degi þá sofnaði konungur og dreymdi að
hann sá hinn helga Ólaf konung föður sinn og mælti við hann:
"Ertu nú mjög hugsjúkur og óttafullur er Vindur fara móti þér
með her mikinn? Ekki skaltu hræðast heiðingja þótt þeir séu
margir saman. Eg mun fylgja þér í orustu þessi. Ráðið þér þá
til bardaga við Vindur er þér heyrið lúður minn."
En er konungur vaknaði þá segir hann draum sinn. Tók þá að
lýsa af degi. Þá heyrði allt fólk í loft upp klukkuhljóð og
kenndu Magnúss konungs menn, þeir er verið höfðu í Niðarósi,
að svo þótti sem Glöð væri hringt. Þá klukku hafði Ólafur
konungur gefið til Klemenskirkju í Kaupangi.
