The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Hinn sama vetur er Sveinn Úlfsson hafði fengið yfirsókn um
Danaveldi og hann hafði vingast við allmikið stórmenni og
fengið alþýðu lof þá lét hann gefa sér konungsnafn og hurfu
að því ráði margir höfðingjar.

En um vorið er hann spurði að Magnús konungur fór norðan úr
Noregi og hafði her mikinn þá fór Sveinn til Skáneyjar og
þaðan upp á Gautland og svo til Svíþjóðar á fund Önundar
Svíakonungs frænda síns og dvaldist þar um sumarið en hafði
njósnir í Danmörk um ferð Magnúss konungs eða um fjölmenni
hans.

En er Sveinn spurði að Magnús konungur hafði látið frá sér
fara mikinn hluta liðs síns og svo það að hann var suður á
Jótlandi þá reið Sveinn ofan af Svíþjóð og hafði þá lið mikið
er Svíakonungur fékk honum. En er Sveinn kom út á Skáney þá
tóku Skánungar vel við honum og héldu hann þar fyrir konung.
Dreif þá lið mikið til hans. Síðan fór hann út til Sjálands
og var þar vel við honum tekið. Lagði hann þar allt undir
sig. Þá fór hann í Fjón og lagði undir sig allar eyjar og
gekk fólkið undir hann. Hafði Sveinn her mikinn og mart
skipa.
