The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Sveinn er maður nefndur sonur Úlfs jarls Þorgilssonar
sprakaleggs. Móðir Sveins var Ástríður dóttir Sveins konungs
tjúguskeggs. Hún var systir Knúts hins ríka samfeðra en hún
var sammæðra við Ólaf Svíakonung Eiríksson. Þeirra móðir var
Sigríður drottning hin stórláta dóttir Sköglar-Tósta. Sveinn
Úlfsson hafði þá dvalist langa hríð með Svíakonungum frændum
sínum, jafnan síðan er fallið hafði Úlfur jarl faðir hans svo
sem ritað er í sögu Knúts hins gamla að hann lét drepa Úlf
jarl mág sinn í Hróiskeldu. Var Sveinn fyrir þá sök ekki í
Danmörk síðan.

Sveinn Úlfsson var allra manna fríðastur sýnum. Manna var
hann og mestur og sterkastur og hinn mesti íþróttamaður og
snilldarmaður. Það var allra manna mál, þeirra er hann var
kunnigur, að hann hefði alla hluti til þá er fríða góðan
höfðingja.

Sveinn Úlfsson kom á fund Magnúss konungs þá er hann lá í
Elfinni svo sem áður er ritað. Tók konungur vel við honum.
Voru þar og margir flutningsmenn til, því að Sveinn var hinn
vinsælsti maður. Talaði hann og sjálfur sitt mál fyrir
konungi fagurt og snjallt og kom svo að Sveinn gekk til handa
Magnúsi konungi og gerðist hans maður. Síðan töluðu þeir
konungurinn og Sveinn marga hluti í einmælum.
