Magnús konungur var um veturinn í Suðureyjum. Þá fóru menn
hans um alla Skotlandsfjörðu fyrir innan eyjar allar, bæði
byggðar og óbyggðar, og eignuðu Noregskonungi eylönd öll.
Magnús konungur fékk til handa syni sínum Sigurði Bjaðminju,
dóttur Mýrjartaks konungs Þjálbasonar Írakonungs. Hann réð
fyrir Kunnöktum. Eftir um sumarið fór Magnús konungur liði
sínu austur í Noreg. Erlendur jarl varð sóttdauður í Niðarósi
og er þar jarðaður en Páll í Björgyn.



Skofti Ögmundarson Þorbergssonar var lendur maður ágætur.
Hann bjó í Giska á Sunn-Mæri. Hann átti Guðrúnu dóttur Þórðar
Fólasonar. Börn þeirra voru Ögmundur, Finnur, Þórður, Þóra er
átti Ásólfur Skúlason. Synir Skofta voru hinir mannvænstu
menn í æsku.
